Hello, in my previous blog articles, I have written about Doctor Who, so I am going to be writing something different. In this blog article, I want to talk about a very personal event, which was seeing Liverpool Football Club play my local club Tranmere Rovers Football Club in the year 2008, with my now late Dad (R.I.P to him). So, it begins by setting off from our house, with some sandwiches and fruit shoots, we arrived like 2 hours before kick-off, and the kick-off was at 3 PM. Went to the Tranmere club shop to get our tickets and a matchday programme, which was fun. We got to our seats by 2:50 PM, ready for the kick-off! |
Whilst we were there, I missed the only goal of that game which was scored by Liverpool's Yossi Benayoun, as a 7-year-old, I didn't mind as I was eating my jammy sandwiches and people were standing up so they blocked my little view. The final scoreline was Tranmere Rovers Football Club 0-1 Liverpool Football Club! After the match finished, we went around the back of Prenton Park, which is Tranmere Rovers Football Club's stadium, to get to the car, which at that time, was a red Citroen. |
Me and my Dad saw the Liverpool team bus and we caught Steven Gerrard getting on the bus, I was starstruck and my Dad was like "it's a pleasure to meet you!" and Steven said "He's a lovely lad, love that kit on you, mate!" That concludes, my article of the day, watching Tranmere vs Liverpool, thank you so much for reading! |
